Registrations to the 2020 e-Enduro Series powered by Specialized are finally open
The upcoming season will be full of great news!
We’ll change venues, the Regions, and consequently also the type of terrain will change from race to race, and compared to the previous editions we’ll give an updated filosophy to the race format, giving more fun during the single events, and more time to prepare between the Series stages, thanks to the monthly cadence!
To facilitate the journey of the athletes / exhibitors on the occasion of the stage of Lacona – Isola d’Elba, the race will be brought forward to Saturday 25 April, and obviously the SuperPole on prevoius at, Friday 24 April.
To provide an additional service, we will shortly publish the price agreements with the ferries Companies, to reach the stage of Lacona – Elba.
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!
We need to report an important change to the race rules, which is the abolition of the Junior category (17/18 years).
Exctract from the UCI rules book:
Article 4.8.002
“ E-Mountain Bike events are open to all cyclists aged 19 or over and include the Master categories. Separate rankings must not be made for the Under 23, Elite or Master categories “.
The e-Enduro staff is keen to point out that numerous attempts have been made, both by us and by some important national e-Enduro teams, but unfortunately the Italian Cycling Federation to date, does not intend to extend participation in the e-Bike races at Junior categories (17/18 years) as already done in 2019, motivating with textual words: “the exceptions are not customary and we must comply with Regulations and Rules, shared with UCI.”
We have tried in every way to find an agreement to change this rule, which even limits adults (18+ age) to participate in competitive e-bike events.
For other sports Federations, at the age of 17 you can compete in Moto GP or Formula 1, even at International levels, with simple permanent “derogations” from existing regulations.
We hope for a quick change of course by the FCI , because depriving is never pleasant, and above all not very educational.
Registrations
AT EVERY COMPETITIVE e-ENDURO EVENT, DURING THE PRELIMINARY OPERATIONS AT THE RACE OFFICE (ACCREDITATION, LICENCE CHECK, NUMBER PLATE DELIVERY, ETC) IT WILL ALWAYS BE MANDATORY TO HAVE AN ORIGINAL COPY OF THE CURRENT RACE MEDICAL CERTIFICATE!!!
RIDERS WITHOUT THIS DOCUMENT AT THE TIME OF THE CHECK WILL EXCLUDED FROM THE RACE.
WE ALSO REMIND YOU, ACCORDING TO THE UCI REGULATIONS, THAT IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN A RACE ON THE ITALIAN TERRITORY (AS FOR THE REST OF EUROPE), EVERY RIDER NEEDS THE AUTHORIZATION – REQUESTED BY ITS TEAM – OF ITS NATIONAL FEDERATION.
2020 e-Enduro Series “PACKAGE REGISTRATION”
- REGISTRATION TO ALL THE STAGES OF THE SERIES AT THE SPECIAL PRICE OF 150€ INSTEAD OF 200€ (excluding the Skills Events).
- PERSONALIZED NUMBER PLATE, with Name and Surname, Team Name and Race number you’ll choose. The number plate, with your number choosed between the 16 and 999, will be delivered at the first licence check you’ll do, and it will remain unchanged for the whole season!
- 2020 e-Enduro T-Shirt, that will be delivered at the Lacona -Elba stage.
“SKILLS EVENT” REGISTRATION
- ROCCHETA BELBO: 25€, including timing chip, and refreshment
- ITALIAN BIKE FESTIVAL: FREE, by invitation only.
INDIVIDUAL RACES REGISTRATION
- The registration fee for the race is set at Euro 40 each. + secretarial rights.
- You can register online for individual races, no later than 12.00 on the Friday preceding the race weekend. After this date it will only be possible to register at the race office, during the SCHEDULED TIMES, with an increase of 5 Euros.

- For further security and guarantee, it is recommended to always have a copy of the payment with you, and above all the valid Medical Certificate, during the preliminary operations.
