Here we are!!

Everything is ready in Alassio for the round one of the 2019 E-Enduro powered by Specialized.

Following the act of the 2018 season, Alassio is ready to give to the e-bikers another exciting round of the e-Enduro, lending its main square close to the seafront to be used as Expo area and Arrival/Departure Zone of the race. Among the exhibitors, we will find Specialized, title sponsor of the series until 2020, Brose provider of its recharging station to all the participants, Vittoria tires with its high end products, Fox suspensions as well as Deaneasy, Double 3, Resolvebike, Mr. Wolf and Suntour.

Last year it was an epic battle among over 160 riders in the cold and under pouring rain and this year the venue looks very promising as well.

The 2019 edition will see the arrival of new top riders like Marco Aurelio Fontana, Stefano Casadei, Marco Milivinti, Davide Sottocornola, Manuel Ducci, Stefano Ossati e Giacomo Dodino. All of them will raise the competition bar, giving to the 2018 e-Enduro overall winner Andrea Garibbo a much harder path to follow to reconfirm himself for the second consecutive season. The same will be for Chiara Pastore, 2018 ladies overall winner. Good luck for everyone.

In a few days, some changes in the rule book of the series will be made public as well as new instruments developed with a close cooperation with the manufacturers, to check the electric motor conformity to the homologation fiche.

All the premises are just right, the location is fantastic and the trails are at the top. Nothing is left except than the signing up! #eenjoy

RACE COURSE AND GPX TRACES

The race course has been draw on the Alassio Outdoor Park trail network, to be ridden on two laps with four separate special stages. totalling 31 kilometres with an elevation gain of 1600 meters.
The first lap will be 20 kilometres long with an elevation gain of 984 meters and two flowing special stages without any notable difficulties. The panorama will be mesmerizing especially in the final part of special stage #2 where literally it will be like jumping into the sea.

After the time check (CO) and a quick battery recharge stop, the second lap will start with a 11 kilometres distance to cover, an elevation gain of 655 meters and two special stages.

Special stage #3 will be partially on the special stage #2 course, reaching the highest altitude at Monte Pisciavino ( 597 meters high) followed by a more technical second segment. In order to improve the quality of the tender, the PS3 was amended and its transfer was changed

Special Stage #4 was utilized last year and it is flowing and fast in the first segment and steepest and more technical in the second segment ending in downtown Alassio.

– From 7 am to Noon: Expo Area Set up
– 12.30 pm: Expo Area Opening
– From 2pm to 6pm: Signing up opening and Cards check
– Mandatory technical briefing for athletes and team managers
SUNDAY
– From 7.30am to 8.30pm: signing up opening and crads check
– 9am: first rider departure
– 3pm: estimated last rider arrival
– 4pm: Winners ceremony

ACCOMODATION

The participating structures will adhere to the convention with the event in question, reserving a discount to the participants of the same and to their companions, equal to 10% of the list price referred to the category of room or apartment chosen. Discount applied only to overnight accommodation or bed and breakfast.
This discount will be reserved only and exclusively for direct bookings, no OTA (booking, expedia).
